Landscaper Crew Member Duties and Responsibilities:
- A Landscaper Crew Member position is typically under the direction of our Landscape Crew Leader and completes a variety of tasks to achieve a functional and pleasant outdoor area.
- They will also care for plants and landscaped areas in residential as well as commercial properties.
A job description for a Landscaper Crew Member may contain the following duties and responsibilities:
- Edging
- Weeding
- Mulching landscape beds
- Placing down landscape fabric
- Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs
- Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees
- Planting shrubs, flowers, and trees
- Monitoring and maintaining plant health
Other Position Details:
- A good Landscaper is someone who uses their eye for design to create aesthetically-pleasing outdoor spaces.
- They have an innovative mindset that enables them to come up with creative solutions to geographical or structural barriers.
- They’re also physically fit, which allows them to operate heavy machinery and use tools to perform manual labor after a training period.
- A good Landscaper values the input of their team members and enjoys working as part of a team to accomplish a common goal.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum 1 year of experience with a valid record of work experience with references to be verified.
- Must speak English.
- Must have a valid ID and social security card.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs daily.
